Surveillance video obtained by CNN appears to show music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie in a 2016 hotel incident, which she detailed in a lawsuit that has since been settled. Cassie, whose legal name is Casandra Ventura, accused Combs of years of physical and sexual abuse.

The video, from an incident in March 2016, captures multiple angles of the alleged assault.
In a federal lawsuit filed in November, Cassie, 37, claimed that Combs raped and physically abused her throughout their relationship, including acts of punching, beating, kicking, and stomping. The lawsuit was settled the day after it was filed.
Representatives for Combs, 54, did not immediately respond to requests for comment on Friday. He has previously denied the allegations, calling them sickening. Following the settlement, an attorney for Combs stated that the agreement was “in no way an admission of wrongdoing.”

In the lawsuit, Cassie alleged that Combs lured her into a relationship when they began working together while she was a rising artist at his label. She claimed the abuse lasted for over a decade and accused Combs of controlling every aspect of her life.

Following Cassie's lawsuit, Combs has faced a series of additional accusations from others, including sexual and physical abuse, gang rape, and other serious illegal activities.
